2027 Infiniti QX65 Autograph
Written by Marco V. Carvajal
The all new 2027 Infiniti QX65 debuts as a sporty and attractive premium 2-row luxury crossover. This car offers value, luxury, quality, design, engine, and performance, giving car buyers one of the best values in the lineup of premium mid-size luxury coupe-style crossovers.
Infinite Models QX65, QX60 and QX80
Infiniti is the luxury brand of Nissan; it is known for making fancy and sporty cars with a unique style. For the 2027 car model, Infiniti only has three selected models available: the 2027 Infiniti QX65 that I am test-driving, which is the smallest SUV of the brand with two rows; the 2027 QX60, a three-row luxury crossover; and the largest Infiniti, the 2027 QX80 with more space and luxury details.

I enjoy the medium size of the QX65, a great car to drive everywhere in the city, to go shopping and park easily when parking spaces are limited and small, but if you decide to go to difficult roads, the QX65 is also ready for any challenge with its smart 4-wheel drive and great driving dynamics, while enjoying a very luxurious interior.

QX65
The 2027 QX65 replaces both the previous outgoing QX50 and QX55 as INFINITI’s premium midsize two-row offering.

Pricing and Versions
Starting at $53,990, you have 3 main trim variations on the QX65: the base model QX65 Deluxe, the QX65 Sport trim model, and the top-of-the-line QX65 Autograph that I am test-driving.
Pricing goes from $53K to $63K, and the three trim models come with standard All Wheel Drive and seating for five passengers.
- 2027 QX65 Deluxe $53,990 MSRP
- 2027 QX65 Sport $55,690 MSRP
- 2027 QX65 Autograph $63,285 MSRP

QX65 Autograph Premium Model
Driving any Autograph trim model of the Infiniti brand makes you feel like the King of the road. Autograph trim models are enhanced with performance and luxury everywhere and have special features only offered on this trim; I would compare the Autograph trim to a special collector edition.
The all-new 2027 Infiniti QX65 Autograph is finished with satin chrome window surround trim and 21-inch machined-finish alloy wheels. This top of the line model has a black-painted roof that creates a striking visual contrast between the vehicle’s sleek upper and its strong haunches.
Crafted details throughout QX65 Autograph include open-pore wood-toned accents, a quilted dashboard, aluminum cargo area scuff plates, and illuminated front and rear kick plates.
Semi-aniline leather seats feature an asymmetrical diagonal quilting pattern inspired by the layered folds of a kimono, complementing soft leather touchpoints throughout the cabin. Massaging front seats complete the premium experience inside the QX65 Autograph’s cabin.

Driving the 2027 Infiniti QX65 Autograph
The QX65 performs well, it is fast and precise, great on turning and braking.
The 21-inch wheels and independent suspension provide a stable feel, and what stands out most is its refinement and comfort everywhere.
All QX65 models feature the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which produces 268 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, all models come standard with all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The Autograph’s seats feature semi-aniline leather with perforations and kimono-inspired quilting. They offer good support and, according to other reviewers, prove comfortable on long trips. The front seats include a massage function, while the rear seats are heated.
As for space, the cabin of the QX65 is roomier than most people think. Despite the sloping roofline, there is minimal loss of headroom, just 0.6 inches less in the rear compared to the QX60.
The second-row legroom measures 35.7 inches, which is 2 inches less than in the QX60. To compensate, the 60/40 split rear bench slides and reclines, allowing for space adjustments. Passengers around six feet tall fit comfortably, though the roof may feel a bit close for those in the back.
The cargo area offers 35.8 cubic feet of space behind the second row. Folding down the rear seats, which can be done via a button in the cargo area, expands the capacity to 67.7 cubic feet. That is about 7.5 cubic feet less than in the QX60. Additionally, there is a 1.9-cubic-foot under-floor compartment with room for a couple of backpacks or an emergency kit.
A power liftgate and a low load height make loading luggage easy. It has a towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds.
The 12.3-inch central display includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Google built-in what can be very helpful to connect to your devices or ask google information.
All QX65 models include ProPILOT Assist, Infiniti’s suite of driver-assistance systems featuring Intelligent Cruise Control and Lane Departure Prevention. They also come equipped with automatic high beams, Hill Start Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition. The more advanced version, ProPILOT Assist 2.1, is available as an option within the Technology package.

Competition of the QX65
The 2027 INFINITI QX65 competes in the midsize luxury coupe-crossover and two-row SUV segment against models like the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Genesis GV80 Coupe, Audi Q8, Porsche Cayenne Coupe, and Lexus RX, however, pricing is better than its competitors, winning with a lower starting price for the QX65 starting at $53K, followed by the Lexus RX with also a low price, starting price around $55K, all other competitors start at a much higher price.
When we put in the balance the value, luxury, quality, design, engine, and performance, the QX65 seems to be one of the best values in the lineup of premium mid-size luxury coupe-style crossovers.
